#364...the making of the queen.

Picture from Hometown So Remo is double-daring us to follow his lead and post our high school pics - but the queen thought she would go it one better today...and show you the first time she felt like a princess.

And the princess was especially proud that day because - the princess' mother posessed a talent previously unbeknownst to her - and made - with her own hands -  her royal garment out of white velvet and satin trimmings - the fabrics looked and felt as glorious as she did that day.

While everyone else was wearing ruffles and petticoats and lace upon storebought lace - she felt "mod" - and the most beautious of all, all thanks to a very hip and groovy seamstress - her royal mother.     Thanks Mom!

Aww! So sweet! I loved my first communion veil. I used it with my other "dress-up" outfits for years until it finally fell apart. Always the bride. Always. LOL -B
