Ahh, St. Lucia. If ever there was a Caribbean island the likes of the Hawaiian islands, St. Lucia is surely that one.
Lush, mountainous, tropical and drop-dead gorgeous, all neatly packaged on one small island with the added benefit of being a hell of a lot closer to the Queen's royal driveway than Hawaii is....

Hey woman! I'm glad to hear you made it back in one piece. I thought maybe the lure of the islands would be too much to resist. I see your visit to St Maarten went well, including the infamous Orient Beach. On my next break in April, I'm planning to go to one of the nearby islands with some friends before heading back to the states for a wekk or so. I may have to check out St Lucia. You make it sound awesome.

it almost was. hell, it still is...notice how i am dragging this story out? st. martin is a wonderful place to be sleep deprived and stressed out, dear david...do not complain.
