#451...the unveiling...

It seems that I have been bitten.

By a beading bug.

and now, truth be told, I am addicted.

Here then, is a peek preview of the results of the beading frenzy...

I hope you all are as delighted with it, as I am...

Picture from Hometown

This bracelet is called moondancer - it is filled with little treasures - genuine hematite and Swarovski aurora borealis crystals, aqua blues, black, clear, fused and lampworked beading, bali beads, Sterling silver toggle clasp and findings - it is strung on very strong, nylon coated 20 lb test wrapped beading wire.  It measures 7.5 inches.  As you can see by the numerous amount of tasseling, it is very labor intensive, taking over an hour to create - but I think the results are worth it. These are true examples of wearable art - with no two creations being fashioned exactly alike.

Whoops - thanks Tara!  I forgot to mention - this collection of hand crafted jewelry - is a new line in my craft business - Believable Balderdash ~ designs for the light-hearted~

Moondancer will retail for $42., if anyone is interested in purchasing it, please email me.

These bracelets will range from $12 to $42, depending on material and design - I'll be posting more pics of various designs, including earrings, soonest...

stay tuned...

Beautiful work...beading is addictive!  When my hands were still good (and hopefully again after the surgery) I loved beading...though mine is more native american in style (of course lol...what else looks good on Cherokee orange skin LOL).  I predict you will sell many many of these baubles!  Best of luck!

"... it is very labor intensive, taking over an hour to create"

Wow, that must have been torturous, perpetual HELL on 'Your Queenliness'. What have you been doing for the other 231-hours since your "I am creating" entry, admiring them?

Honey, they're gorgeous to write the least. It was worth the wait, splendid craftswomanship.

ohhhhhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhh .. how beautiful!  My mom had a jewelry shop and made a lot of her own creations too.  I always admired those who were creative.

That's a pretty neat-looking bracelet. I once had neighbors who did as you are doing, and they made some money off it, too. Good luck.
