Weekend Assignment #8: Name the book that you feel would best describe you to a total stranger.
So the Taskmaster Scalzihead is still giving out assignments - doesn't he know it's officially summer? Fine. Here ya go John: The book that would best describe me to a total stranger would be:
Just like Sam-I-Am,
I can be a lousy cook and still insist on my kids to eat it.
(which translates to stubborn and persistant until I get my way)

At my kids' school, every year in celebration of Dr. Seuss, the teachers cook up a big batch of green eggs and ham for the children. And every time my kids ate them, they would come home sick and I had to tell the school....
'No, they can not eat green eggs and ham, they do not like them Sam-I-Am!' To this day I don't know what it is about the green eggs. The school still makes them every year. My kids just pass on them.
That book brings back a lot of memories. lol When I was in kindergarden, we had a "green eggs and ham" day, or something like that, and we really ate green eggs and ham. lol The green eggs didn't taste different.

Oooooo, I LOVED that book! When my sons were little, I read so many Dr. Seuss books that I couldn't help but speak in rhyme in every adult conversation. However, the thought of eating green eggs turns my stomach. Or it could be the mac and cheese and tuna fish hubs made for supper here. Good choice! ~Peachy
When Ed and I were "courting" he described himself as "Zen and the art of motorcycle matinance," strange then.. strange now. Actually loved the book.
