#340...Today's unexpected delight.

So a very mysterious package comes all the way from Arizona to Floralilialand this morning and look what I found inside!

My very own, very beautiful, copper Mobious Strip charm!

The little purple card reads:   Mobius:  It's a one sided surface flows from inner to outer and back again expressing the continuous journey along the pathway of Life.

The Mobius Strip was discovered in 1858 by German mathematician, August Ferdinand Mobius.    This shape has special qualities as do those who wear it.

Mumsy once asked us----> So, if you were a charm, what would you be?

Of course, I answered I would be a Mobius Strip...not only because I always have to be difficult - but because it is an amazing and magical concept -

...The Mobius strip represents a willingness to move WITH the constantly changing cycles in our Life process, transforming our challenges into useful solutions.

It is symbolic of eternal change within stillness itself.

The Mobius Strip is an expression of non-duality. It reveals the Unity of all polarities, creating a state of Oneness, joining the whole and the part, the masculine and the feminine, expansion andcontraction, spirit and matter, etc. Everything is One and nothing can be separated from anything else. All is completely intertwined, infinitely.

The Mobius Strip is a spiritually significant symbol of balance and union. ..."a single unbroken wholeness in flowing movement."

                                   Thank you, Mumsy and Babymae!!

Are these women luscious or what!?

Gee and I thought it was just a math concept covered in unit 10.5 geometry.  Actually taught it this week. ( nothing about the mystical part... public school you know,.)

Beutiful charm, and in this case not just symbolic of eternal change within stillness but also of friendships forged online.
