so I thought it would be kinda fun to see where everyone posts each day -
so there you have it - the very official, floralilian desktop.
the mess is usually in direct proportion to the creativity that may or may not be flowing that day...this must have been before my morning coffee...okay, I lied...I straightened it up some - blame my mother.
anyway, it's a great place to work, to the left a window, to the right the door, behind me a balcony with a great view over the family room and out onto the golf course...
it's also a great place for launching paper airplanes - go ask the kids....i'm just grateful they haven't thought of bungee jumping to the sofa as yet...
come on now fellow journalers...link up...let's do "the official aol desk tour"...
ya know..kinda like a conga line...with steel drums playing...

For our V~day present my husband is making me a big desk with a hutch. As soon as he finishes it lol (maybe by Easter, you know how men can be with those projects) I will post it. but no way would I post my current lay out, what a messssssssssssssssssss. lol

okay i interrupted my packing to see some of the "aol playstations" on the official desk tour - you guys are hilarious!!.
..now imagine the bigger picture..each one sitting in their official arena's of creativity...thinking..linking..typing...laughing...gasping...searching, shuffling....and more than a few who are trying to track down their mouses under all the messes...i'm not names names here....
messes or no messes - post people!! that's an official order!

Yep, definitely the desk of a creative person ... except that it's too clean! I like the natural wood look, and the Tiffany-style lamp, of course. I can almost imagine a little Norah Jones playing in the background as you work. I have to make due with a futon and coffee table for a desk instead. I hope this doesn't disqualify me. Ah well, the life of a student.
