#314...and the red, red, Robin goes bop, bop, boppin' along, along...

Well, it looks like spring definately has sprung here..and some little robin found herself a really nice little condo, right under my deck...

...the view is great, the rent is cheep (!) and the food is free.

Sigh, all life should be this good.

Keep the pictures coming!! I don't know how long the incubation is for a robin's egg (though Ohio is swarmed with Robins), but I wanna see progressive pictures, including baby birdies!!

I'm hoping to do just that dianne - but don't want to stress out momma too much..
it amazes me that she built right there - pretty smart bird - sheltered, hidden, and over a small planting, so that the baby birds have something to land on when they learn to fly....will keep you updated..

How exciting!!!!  Are those eggs really as big as they look?  We have a big old date palm tree that each winter has turned into a bird nest condo....  This year we had a pair of peach-faced love birds that called it home.  Beautiful bright green little parrots with pink faces.  They apparently made whoopie because now we have four peach faced love birds living here.
